সকল প্রশ্নWhich Fats Are Healthy?

Not all fats are harmful—healthy fats play a vital role in maintaining body functions, such as brain health, heart health, and hormone production. The healthiest fats are unsaturated fats, which are divided into two categories:

  1. Monounsaturated fats – Found in olive oil, avocados, and nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts), these fats help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and reduce the risk of heart disease.

  2. Polyunsaturated fats – Found in fatty fish (salmon, tuna, mackerel), flaxseeds, walnuts, and sunflower seeds, these fats include essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which support brain function and reduce inflammation.

Healthy fats improve cholesterol levels, support cell growth, and help absorb fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K). However, consuming too many unhealthy fats, like saturated and trans fats, can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
