Malaria is a mosquito-borne disease caused by Plasmodium parasites. It is transmitted through the bite of an infected Anopheles mosquito.
Common Symptoms of Malaria:
High fever (often in cycles)
Chills and sweating
Severe headache
Nausea and vomiting
Muscle pain and fatigue
If left untreated, malaria can lead to organ failure, anemia, and even death, especially in young children and pregnant women.
