Coronavirus is a newly discovered species of virus. This virus causes cough, flu, and fever. It rapidly destroys the respiratory system which may cause death to the person. The disease caused by the coronavirus is named Covid-19. It is completely an infectious disease. The disease was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever. cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, and loss of smell and taste. Majority of the cases show mild symptoms. The virus is primarily spread between people during close contact of the affected people. The affected people produce small droplets by coughing, sneezing, and talking. This droplets spread Covid-19 among others. To prevent infection recommended measures are frequent hand washing. maintaining physical distance from others, covering coughs and keeping unwashed hands away from the face. Scientists around the world have already invented a number of vaccines against COVID-19. People are also being vaccinated by turns. Medicines have also been invented as a treatment for the COVID affected patients. It is hoped that coronavirus will disappear from the world soon and the people of the world will get rid of this pandemic.
