Air is an important element of our environment. But air is getting polluted seriously. It is a global concern at present. Vehicles emitting smokes pollute air in cities. Besides, burning of trash and indiscriminate discharge of human waste in the open air is also the cause of air pollution. Serious air pollution occurs in the industrial areas. To prevent such air pollution, we should be determined and take necessary steps. Industries should not be set up here and there. We should shift the mills and factories away from the locality or residential areas. Excessive smoke emitting vehicles should be banned. Lead free petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG) should be used in vehicles to minimize air pollution.
