Write a composition on "Discipline" in 250 words.

Discipline

Introduction: Discipline is a moral (নৈতিক) quality. The word 'discipline' comes from a Latin word 'discipulus'. 'Discipulus' means a disciple. A disciple obeys the orders of his master without any argument.

Value of discipline/ Its necessity: In the society we cannot do whatever we like. If everybody does what he pleases, there will be disorder (বিশৃঙ্খলা) in society. So discipline is essential for happiness and progress.

Discipline in nature: Discipline is the first law of nature. The earth, the moon, and the planets move around the sun following discipline strictly. And the sun rises in the east and sets in the west maintaining discipline.

Discipline in student life/ Discipline in schools: A strict discipline must be maintained in school. Because student life is the best time for learning discipline. In this regard students must attend school in time. They must listen to their teachers.

Discipline in the army/ in the battle-field: In the army it is the first essential. In the battle-field discipline is strictly (কঠোরভাবে) followed. The soldiers must carry out the orders of the commander strictly.

Discipline in the playground: In the playground discipline is more necessary. The players must obey their playing rules, their çaptain and the referee. Otherwise no game can be played properly.

Discipline in our national life: No nation can prosper without discipline. A nation can prosper only if there is discipline. For this, the citizens of a nation must obey the law and rules of the state.

Conclusion: Life without discipline is like a ship without a rudder. Only disciplined life cari achieve prosperity (সাফল্য).
